Description:

Home aka Happy Smekday! is an upcoming 2014 Computer animated comedy film by DreamWorks Animation. It is based on the 2007 Adam Rex's children's book The True Meaning of Smekday. Tim Johnson is the director, and Chris Jenkins and Suzanne Buirgy are the producers of the film. 

There hasn’t been much talk of DreamWork’s upcoming project "Home" (formerly Happy Smekday!), but recently there’s been quite a bit of news. In addition to casting announcements of Steve Martin and Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Jim Parsons are also onboard.

The film will be distributed by 20th Century Fox and is currently scheduled to be released on November 26, 2014.

Plot:

"Home is about an overly optimistic alien race named Boov, led by Captain Smek (Steve Martin) which invades Earth to hide from their mortal enemy and make it their new home. These aliens are convinced that they are doing humans a favor. They begin to relocate the human race but one resourceful girl, Tip (Rihanna), manages to avoid capture. When on the run, she is helped by a banished Boov, named Oh (Jim Parsons), who has accidentally notifies the enemies of their whereabouts."
