Description:

Daawat-e-Ishq (English: Feast Of Love) is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood comedy drama film directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It features actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. Music of the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid.
The film is scheduled for worldwide release on September 5, 2014. 

Plot:

"A deliciously romantic coming together of Gulrez "Gullu" Qadir (Parineeti Chopra) a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men; and Tariq "Taru" Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor) a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs. In the clash of diametrically opposite but equally spicy cultures of Hyderabad and Lucknow, Gullu and Taru arrive at a "tuning-setting", rewrite traditional recipes of love, crush old-fashioned world-view and make their own masaledaar albeli rangreli pichchar - Daawat-e-Ishq.."

In the above posted first look picture, Parineeti Chopra is seen savouring a delicacy with the Aashiqui 2 actor. Kapoor is playing a chef in the film and is sporting a muscular look.

The movie which was slated to release in June, will now hit the screen on Teacher's Day Sep 5.

After playing a Jaipur girl in ‘Shudh Desi Romance’, Parineeti Chopra will be playing a Hyderabadi girl in the film.

Daawat-e-Ishq will also star Karan Wahi and Anupam Kher. The music of the film is composed by Sajid-Wajid.
