Description:

Jupiter Ascending is an upcoming 2014 science fiction film written, produced and directed by The Wachowskis (The Matrix Series). The film centers on a lowly janitor (Mila Kunis) who learns that she has a great genetic destiny.

The film's co-producer is Grant Hill, who produced two previous Wachowski films, Speed Racer and Cloud Atlas. The film is slated to release on Friday 25th of July, 2014.

Plot:

"Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis)  is an unlucky Russian immigrant who cleans toilets for a living. She encounters Caine (Channing Tatum), an interplanetary warrior whom the Queen of the Universe sent to kill Jupiter. Caine tells Jupiter that the stars were pointing to an extraordinary event on the night she was born, and that her DNA could mark her as the universe’s next leader."
