Considering the budget of the movie and just average responses, it did not collected its cost. Heartless made a collection of around 1.30 Crores on First Weekend.

The public responses for the movie were also average. Nothing so good that can help Heartless turn its faith into something else.

Shekhar Suman, who made his acting debut opposite none other than Rekha in Utsav and will soon be making his directorial debut with a romantic thriller Heartless, says that the film is quite close to his heart as it is dedicated to his elder son Aayush, who passed away at the young age of 11 due to a heart ailment. 

Talking about the film, Suman said, "In some ways, Heartless has a slice of my heart in it. The film was a huge emotional experience for me to direct and act with my son Adhyayan Suman for the first time. He is a very sensitive and an intense actor."

In a period where Bollywood has nothing new to offer, I believe a film should have something that audience can carry back home when they leave the theatre. This is a film that concentrates on love between a mother and a son. I am sure every son will go home and give his mother a hug after watching the film."

The oiginal hollywood film Awake  starring Hayden Christen and Jessica Alba was well recieved by the audience and was also successful at the boxoffice. Lets hope that this ripoff does not dissappoints !!

The race to the 100 crore club and beyond will get more exciting in 2014 with Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan battling it out at the box office even as a crop of upcoming actors and their films are set to challenge the Khan reign in Bollywood.

January's most anticipated film is 'Jai Ho' which will mark Salman's return to the big screen after a gap of one and a half years. Slated for January 24 release, "Jai Ho" will see him play the role of a common man with lot of muscle power.

The film is directed by his brother Sohail Khan. The trailer features the 'Dabangg' star fist fighting enemies while Tabu plays a proud sister. After a long time, we will see Danny Denzongpa playing a baddie.
