Jai Ho is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood action Drama film starring Salman Khan and Tabu in lead roles. It is a remake of Telugu film Stalin starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The film is directed by Sohail Khan under the Sohail Khan Production banner and is set to release on 24 January 2014. Jai Ho is Salman's latest release after a gap of about one year. His last release was Dabbang 2 on 21st December, 2012.
Plot:
"Jai Agnihotri is an upright common man, fighting a solitary war against corruption and injustice. Honest and incorruptible, he has made it his mission to help as many people as he can. His mantra is quite simple - help somebody and then request that person to lend a helping hand to somebody else, thus forming an ever growing circle of people helping each other.
In a strange twist of fate, he finds himself pitted against a powerful politician and his vile family. Jai who is an ex army officer, will not shy away from a battle, however bloody it may get and firmly believes that you do not have to wear an uniform to serve your country. As the politician unleashes his violent goons on brave heart Jai, Geeta, Jai's sister, realises the horrific consequences this can have on her brother and the rest of their family. She persuades a reluctant Jai to make peace with the politician. But when this leads to humiliation being heaped on him, Jai loses his cool and declares all out war. It is an unequal war - on side stand the politician with his numerous henchmen and on one side is Jai...alone.
But unknown to him, a silent revolution is taking place. The voiceless public, he has helped in the past, is gathering force. It finally has a voice and this voice cannot...and will not be silenced. Because Jai Ho is the resounding sound of victory...Jai Ho is the warrior cry of someone determined to win at all cost..."

The race to the 100 crore club and beyond will get more exciting in 2014 with Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan battling it out at the box office even as a crop of upcoming actors and their films are set to challenge the Khan reign in Bollywood.
January's most anticipated film is 'Jai Ho' which will mark Salman's return to the big screen after a gap of one and a half years. Slated for January 24 release, "Jai Ho" will see him play the role of a common man with lot of muscle power.
The film is directed by his brother Sohail Khan. The trailer features the 'Dabangg' star fist fighting enemies while Tabu plays a proud sister. After a long time, we will see Danny Denzongpa playing a baddie.
Salman and Eid releases are equal to box office success. After the blockbuster success of "Ek Tha Tiger" in 2012, the actor is releasing his second film 'Kick' on July 27 this year.
Aamir ended 2013 with 'Dhoom 3' and looks set to have another great year in 2014. He has teamed up with his '3 Idiots' director Raj Kumar Hirani for the movie "PK".
The story of the film has been kept under tight wraps but it seems that Hirani, who has had a fail-proof directing record so far with 'Munnabhai' films and '3 Idiots', is taking on godmen in his next, which will release on June 6.
King Khan ( Shah Rukh Khan) is also in the race with two films. After the triumphant journey and huge success of 'Chennai Express' at the box office, SRK is back with his friend Farah Khan with a priject titled 'Happy New Year'.
