DISHKIYAOON BOXOFFICE - 2014 BOLLYWOOD MOVIE

Dishkiyaoon is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood film produced by Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra along with Eros International. The film features Sunny Deol, Harman Baweja and debutant Ayesha Khanna in lead roles. The film is based on the Mumbai underworld. The film was supposed to be released on 10 January 2014, but has now been delayed to 28th March 2014. 

BoxOffice:

Dishkiyaoon opened to a very poor occupancy of 5-10% in approximately 1500 theatres.
The film badly failed to meet up the hype and expectations surrounding the film before its release.
However, the movie is getting favorable reviews from the critics on the story and action of the film. Harman's performance in the movie is also praised by many, But the movie failed to gather good collections at the Indian Boxoffice.

Dishkiyaoon is the comeback film of Harman Baweja which failed to entice movie-goers at the domestic box office. The film had the widest release of the three films to be release this weekend, but the business over the weekend and on its first weekday has sealed its fate.

Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s first home production will collect less than 6 crore in its first week and will finish with lifetime business of less than 10 crore. The film will struggle to recover even its marketing costs.

Saturday – 1.25 crore
Sunday – 1.3 crore
Monday – 0.6 crore
Total Collections – 4.4 crore

Plot:

"Born in the upper middle class society, Viki(Harman Baweja) had no mother and his father had no time for him. The cold loneliness of Viki’s world left him weak and tainted from within. Absence of love and care pushed Viki to find acceptance in other places. One such place was just a road away from his plush apartment- THE GANGSTER‐LAND."
