The Judge is an upcoming 2014 Drama film directed by David Dobkin. The film stars Robert Downey, Jr., Robert Duvall, Vera Farmiga, Vincent D’Onofrio, Dax Shepard, Jeremy Strong, and Billy Bob Thornton. The film is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2014 in the United States. 
The movie is about a big city lawyer Hank Palmer (Robert Downey Jr.), who returns to his childhood home where his father, the town's judge, is suspected of murder. Hank sets out to discover the truth and, along the way, reconnects with his estranged family.
