Annabelle is an upcoming 2014 Horror/Thriller film directed by John R. Leonetti and written by Gary Dauberman. It is a spin-off of The Conjuring. The film stars Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton. The film will be released worldwide on October 3, 2014.
New Line & Warner Bros have released the Second Official trailer for 'Annabelle', the spinoff of last year’s hit horror 'The Conjuring'. The film stars Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton & Alfre Woodard.
The trailers offers a strange set-up: a husband presents his pregnant wife with a strange doll to apparently complete her collection.

On November 8, 2013, it was announced that a spin-off film of The Conjuring, featuring Annabelle the Doll from the film, is developing by Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, with Peter Safran to produce and John R. Leonetti set to direct the film with a script written by Gary Dauberman in spring 2014. On January 15, 2014 news confirmed that Annabelle Wallis and Ward Horton have joined the lead cast of the film, which Leonetti is directing from a Gary Dauberman's script.
