A Walk Among the Tombstones is an upcoming 2014 American Action/Crime/Drama film based on a novel by Lawrence Block of the same name. The film is directed and written by Scott Frank and stars Liam Neeson, Dan Stevens, Boyd Holbrook, Ruth Wilson and Sebastian Roché. The film is scheduled to be released on September 19, 2014.

Plot:
"Formerly a detective with the NYPD, now a recovering alcoholic haunted by regrets, Matt Scudder has a lot to make up for. Frank has helmed some great projects & have been working on very well received movies in his time ("Get Shorty," "Out of Sight," "Minority Report") and his directorial debut, "The Lookout," was very well-received in 2007. I've been looking forward to this one for a while, even happened upon the set in downtown New York last April. It's set for a mid-September release so we could potentially see it pop up at the Toronto Film Festival later this year.
