Description:

Dracula Untold, previously known as Dracula and Dracula: Year Zero, is an upcoming 2014 Action/Drama-fantasy film directed by Gary Shore and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. The film stars Luke Evans and Sarah Gadon. It is based on the novel Dracula by Irish novelist Bram Stoker. The film is slated to release on 17th October, 2014.

Plot:

"Origin tale of Vlad the Impaler the Romanian royal who inspired Bram Stoker’s vampire tale. A fresh take on the legend manages to play off the horror and the sympathy of for a character that “sells his soul to the Devil to save his kingdom and family."

Release Date:

On April 25, 2013, Universal Pictures announced that the film would be released in theaters on August 8, 2014. It was announced 4 months later that the movie would be postponed until October 3, 2014. The release date was pushed a third time to October 17, 2014.
