Description:

Happy Christmas is an upcoming 2014 American Comedy Drama Movie written, produced and directed by Joe Swanberg. It stars Swanberg, Anna Kendrick, Melanie Lynskey, Lena Dunham and Mark Webber.

The film premiered in-competition in the US Dramatic Category at 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2014. Magnolia Pictures and Paramount Pictures acquired the international distribution rights and are set to release the film on 26th June, 2014.

The film will hit the theatres on 25th July, 2014.

Plot:

"Irresponsible 20-something Jenny arrives in Chicago to live with her older brother Jeff, a young film-maker living a happy existence with his novelist wife Kelly and their two-year-old son. Jenny's arrival shakes up their quiet domesticity as she and her friend Carson instigate an evolution in Kelly's life and career. Meanwhile, Jenny strikes up a rocky relationship with the family's baby sitter-cum-pot dealer."
