Dinosaur 13 is an upcoming 2014 American documentary film directed and produced by Todd Douglas Miller. The film premiered in competition category of U.S. Documentary Competition program at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival on January 16, 2014.

After its screening at the Sundance Film Festival,the distribution rights of the film were acquired by CNN Films and Lionsgat. The movie is a documentary about the discovery of the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil ever found.

The film is set for a limited release in the US on 15th August, 2014.

Plot:

"When Paleontologist Peter Larson and his team from the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research made the world's greatest dinosaur discovery in 1990, they knew it was the find of a lifetime; the largest, most complete T. rex ever found. But during a ten-year battle with the U.S. government, powerful museums, Native American tribes, and competing paleontologists, they found themselves not only fighting to keep their dinosaur but fighting for their freedom as well."
