Elizabeth Banks Walk Of Shame takes 'Walk Of Shame' at the boxoffice.

Focus World Entertainment latest project 'Walk Of Shame' starring Elizabeth Banks was released on May 02nd, 2014. There were great expectations from the movie and boxoffice predictions were really high also. However the movie bombed at the boxoffice after its theatrical release, receiving mostly negative to mixed reviews from the critics.

The movie was produced on a total budget of $15 million, but unfortunately the raunchy comedy didn't even managed to gross $1 million. The main reason was maybe the release of other heavy budget releases. Till now it has grossed a mere $55,728 from a little more than 50 locations which is disappointing. The film’s VOD release may be proving more popular than the theatrical run. Focus pointed out that the film started very strong on iTunes and shot up to no. 1 spot in 24 hours.
 

The comedy is co-financed by FilmDistrict and Lakeshore, and came to Focus when it absorbed FilmDistrict in January. It was originally slated for release last September then changed multiple times (from March 14 to April 25 to May 2).

The cast of Walk Of Shame includes Elizabeth Banks, James Marsden, Gillian Jacobs, Ethan Suplee, Sarah Wright Olsen, Oliver Hudson & Willie Garson.
