Horns (2014) Official Trailer - Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple



Horns is a 2013 and upcoming 2014 American-Canadian dark fantasy thriller film directed by Alexandre Aja, based on Joe Hill's novel of the same name. It stars Daniel Radcliffe as Ig Perrish. Accused of the rape and murder of his girlfriend, he uses newly discovered paranormal abilities in his pursuit to uncover the real killer.


The film had its world premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, and is set to have its North American theatrical release in late 2014. The UK release date has been set for 31 October 2014.

Plot:

''Merrin Williams is dead, slaughtered under inexplicable circumstances, leaving her beloved boyfriend Ignatius Perrish as the only suspect. On the first anniversary of Merrin’s murder, Ig spends the night drunk and doing awful things. When he wakes the next morning he has a thunderous hangover... and horns growing from his temples. Ig possesses a terrible new power to go with his terrible new look, a gift he intends to use to find the monster who killed his lover.''

Cast Overview:

Daniel Radcliffe as Ignatius "Ig" Perrish—A 26-year-old man who wakes up after a drunken night to find two protrusions growing from his forehead, which give him the power to compel people to unravel their deepest secrets. Radcliffe stated, "It’s a very, very different type of part than anything I’ve done before", adding that the role was "deeply emotional and also incredibly outrageous in some ways".

Shia LaBeouf was originally set to play the lead, but was later replaced by Radcliffe.
