V/H/S VIRAL - (V/H/S 3)

Epic Pictures Group has announced that they will be releasing a third installment in the V/H/S franchise titled V/H/S Viral. Justin Welborn (The Final Destination) and freshman actor Emmy Argo are announced as part of the ensemble cast. The VHS movies are based on found footage theme.

VHS 3 is produced by THE COLLECTIVE and BLOODING DISGUSTING.

Fame-obsessed teens hell-bent on capturing the next viral video discover they are the stars of the latest internet sensation. V/H/S VIRAL is the third and most intense installment in the groundbreaking horror franchise from the world’s top genre filmmakers. V/H/S: VIRAL’s segments include the story of a deranged illusionist who obtains a magical object of great power, a homemade machine that opens a door to a parallel world, teenage skaters that unwillingly become targets of a Mexican death cult ritual, and a sinister, shadowy organization that is tracking a serial killer. The segments are tied together by the story of a group of fame-obsessed teens following a violent car chase in LA that unwittingly become stars of the next internet sensation.
The release date of VHS 3 is set to sometime in Fall 2014.

The film features segments directed and written by indie horror directors Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Nacho Vigalondo (Timecrimes), Marcel Samiento (Deadgirl), Gregg Bishop (Dance of the Dead), and Resolution’s Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead. Dave White (Weep) and TJ Cimfel (No Tell Motel) also contributed to the screenplay.

Actors Emilia Zoryan, Justin Welborn and Emmy Argo are listed as cast members, but we really don't know what kind of short each director will deliver, but that's been part of the fun, especially when catching the premieres at Sundance. It's not clear if the third chapter in this horror franchise will hit the indie film festival again.
